Ambas fechas el restaurante Sea Monkey abrirá al público de manera normal, ofreciendo un buen menú y su famoso bar a precios muy accesibles.

Puede aprovechar la ocasión de mirar y adquirir buenas obras de arte y además sentarse a disfrutar el sabor de Playa Los Muertos.

En este evento, tendrás la oportunidad de apreciar diferentes manifestaciones artísticas; artes visuales, artes escénicas, música y literatura.

Los artistas participantes iniciarán la fiesta explorando libremente cada uno de los espacios previamente recreados, cómo: "El árbol de los recuerdos", "La estructura del tiempo" en la explanada, "Las ventanas al interior", "Las rampas", "Los jardines mágicos", "El lobby", "El pasillo", etc.

Tendrás la oportunidad de jugar en cada uno de los espacios, en donde la idea es invitarte a romper con la armadura y decidas despojarte por un momento de prejuicios, de lo "aprendido" y hábitos cotidianos, dejando atrás todo lo que te limita para ser espontáneo.

No te lo pierdas, este Mayo 18 a las 7 p.m. en Biblioteca Los Mangos.

You will have the opportunity to appreciate different artistic manifestations: visual and scenic arts, music and literature.

The participant artists will start the party freely exploring the previously recreated spaces: "The memories tree", "The time structure" in the terrace, "The interior windows", "The ramps", "The magic gardens", "The lobby", "The hallway", etc.

You will have the opportunity to play in each space, where the idea is to invite you to break the armor and to strip off prejudices of what's "given" and daily habits, leaving behind everything that limits you from being spontaneous.

“Emergente” Exhibition in Puerto Vallarta

Next Saturday, March 23rd, 2013, Los Mangos Library opens its doors at 6:30pm to fill the night with light, art, movement, color, and intense, creative energy in the “Emergente” art exhibition of alternative art.

Los Mangos Library’s reason to be is to shelter different cultural manifestations and to put them within the reach of the community, with the purpose of enriching and strengthening values such as respect, integrity, creativity and character.

“Emergente” is a new generation group of artists, lead and brought together by Gabriela Munguía and with the valuable support of the Culture Office of Puerto Vallarta, have created an event with the finality of revealing talents and showing movements and tendencies that are being generated in all fields of plastic and audiovisual arts throughout the whole world; and showing how these young people are the creators of such movements.

This art exhibition has been conceived as a party for the senses, an occasion to meet with people and art that proposes, touches, affects, and widens our vision of the region’s artists.

Artistic expressions, such as paintings, photography, etchings, music, short films, object-art, and video projections will be exhibited in the library and its gardens.

Come and live the experience of art like never before. All of the pieces will be for sale.
